Treating Injuries With Heat and Cold

I have always had trouble remembering the protocol for using warm and cold packs (or both) on an injury. I found this clear explanation on the TOPS Veterinary Rehab website. I love the great folks at TOPS.
These directions should apply to both dogs and humans.
