NFC/FEO for Start Line Training and Snazzy Photos

Another use for NFC/FEO: I took Snap! and Spark to a UKI trial at Agility at the Farm on NYE day. I’m still “resting” my injured foot so I decided to work Snap!‘s start lines by running NFC/FEO. Apparently I’ve trained him to break his start lines at trials when he is really aroused together with when I get “too far away” from him. So he broke 3x during our first “run” and I calmly escorted him off the course. The next course he held two start lines until released and I rewarded him with some fun tugging!

I “ran” Spark, well I walked with urgency, and he dropped a bar in one run and took first place in his second run. Very proud of my little guy!

Here are some nice photos by Vibrant K9 LLC of the boys in action. It’s not often that there is a pro photographer at a local trial!
