Debugging UKI Titles and Missing Points in ANRB
17 May 2024
Your Blender says I didn’t finish some of my UKI titles! I’ve been asked why the Next Titles tab shows that some dogs still need points in lower level classes. See the attached screenshot. Dog X is already in International Champs but is showing as needing 4 Senior Agility points. Similarly for SSN and SSS titles.
There are three scenarios.
In my case I moved Snap! up to Intl Champs too soon and earned some qualifying scores.
Another scenario is a score wasn’t recorded at the office. In dog X’s case the title certificates were sent out but the scores aren’t showing on the UKI results page - so the Blender can’t know about them.
The third scenario is that the UKI office accidentally sent out a title certificate before the dog had earned all the points. This is rare, but a couple competitors have reported it happening.
In the first case, like Snap!, I’ll remember to enter him in the correct level and finish out his titles before moving up again.
In the second case, you could try to find the missing scores in your emails from the trial secretary and contact the UKI office to get your scores updated.
In the third case you could compete at the lower level and earn the missing points. Or you could go on and compete at the next level.
If you want to view what scores Blender has found for any level/title: select New Titles and then Details and scroll to the title in question and you will see the scores found at that level for that title. So far 🤞 ANRB hasn’t failed to load all scores on the site.
I might add a toggle to let you temporarily hide the lower level titles missing points if this is bothersome to enough people. Update: version 2.1.1 did add a toggle to hide the skipped titles.
